Flow Charts

Posted February 10th, 2012 by mightyn0

Building a website requires good planning in order to create a site that surfers find user-friendly and easy to navigate.  Sites without proper planning end up needing massive changes or even a fresh start which ends up costing money because it was not in the original plans.

Great flow charts include three things:

  1. As much information as possible of content, photos, and graphics
  2. All add-on needs exposed; like if you needed a forum on your site, FAQ’s.  How do those things look?
  3. Examples of the things you’ve outlined in live sites

Ways to create a flow chart:

  1. Make an outline with categories like about us, services, contact us and subcategories
  2. Pen and paper and email me as a pdf
  3. Use a free service like Slick Plan or LucidChart to help create your flowchart digitally
